"8" has always been my favourite number since i was little. It's significant to me as it represents my birthdate. Anyway, today is also the official opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games! Jason rated it in his twitter 15/10!! No machines, all human!! I must watch the reply d.

Anyway, today is the day I finally got my breakthrough in something that I've long to tell. Something that I was so lost in. Something that I so dowan to keep. It's finally shattering away pieces by pieces..

It's when you are at the lowest moment of your life you will learn the greatest lesson and through it all, I know that Jesus is there by my side.

*am back*

PC Fair has finally ended peacefully last night but I had to stay till late for "tear down", a term that my company (or any contractor) uses when its time for post event clear up! Thank God for granting me the inner strength to stay strong throughout the day and sustaining me despite my lack of sleep!! =D

For those who never go pc fair this time round, let me show you how it's like.....

*imagine how long those ppl need to clear the mess!! be considerate!*

Anyway, this was my first experience in PC Fair and I can tell you it was a great one! On the first day (1 Aug, Friday), the crowd was rather average and under control. To me, 2nd day was the worst, PIKOM and KLCC staffs totally lose control on the enormous amount of crowd coming in jamming the walkway and thanks to 1 or 2 impatient and wild uncle, the emergency exit glass was deliberately smashed broken to unarm the door in Hall 3 which was supposed to be closed. The crowd started to rush out from the forced open door and withing seconds the security came to control the crowd. Some of the booths partitions was also pushed and almost ruined by these brainless people who do not think about the consequences!

Some of them approached the organisers saying that the walking path was too narrow but honestly, we can't blame them coz the crowd is just too MASSIVE!! Anyway, it was a great 3 days experience for me and I have learnt alot from the fair.

Had this for dinner just then and it was delicious!! nice nice! =D

Am a little disappointed though for not able to go for Passion World Tour yesterday and meet Chris Tomlin in person! I supposed it was a great night with great message as I heard positive feedbacks from lotsa people!! Looking for the next one!

Ok... Time to sleep already!! Need to cover up my restless nights!!

It's already 10pm ++ and I'm still sitting here by the convention centre's service counter while the contractors are busy building up the special design booths for the upcoming PC Fair! Am waiting for 11pm and I can leave for home and since I have time I thought of a live blogging again!! hehehe...

Good news to IT Gadgets Freaks, PC Fair is happening this Friday till Sunday from 10.15am - 9.00pm. Prepare yourself to be stunned by the Hi-Teched gigantically built booths. There will also be one double deck booth located at the ballroom. Ain't gonna tell you what company are those. Come this Friday to find our yourself and carry home some stuffs since its Megasale Season! Am gonna get myself a 500G external hard disk for about, say rm250?? Weee..

Happy birthday to Mayz again! LOL... Just last week, 21st of July, I was with Chingy in The Gardens queing up for SATC movie screening passes. (but then tak dapat la) haha.. Then we went to Sushi Zanmai to have a simple dinner with ShinLu, Corinna and Mayz (birthday girl). It was my first time in that restaurant though and the food there is quite nice. Nontheless I'm still a strong supporter of Sushi King though! hehe..

Cell Gathering Dinner

Just came home from a short 'yumcha' session with Tim, Joanne, SunSun and SukYee. Happy birthday again to Sun! LOL...

Anyway, had a really enjoyable dinner at 6-10 Grill & Nasi Lemak with my cell members continued with a super funny Mafia session at SaiKit's house! I guess now we know who is the pro deceiver though!! Dinner was supposed to be in My Elephant (Thai food) again but due to some miscommunication with the reservation made with the staffs there, we weren't able to have our dinner and that was why we ended up at 6-10. Bad first time impression of them to my cell members though, but nontheless we had a fair time of jokes and chats during the dinner.

Red Wine Grill Lamb and Nasi Lemak stole the lime light though but my Garlic Butter Grill Salmon was also simply fantastic!! 6-10 has a quite a good long history with their ever well known Nasi Lemak and Western food. After dinner, 13 of us crashed into our cell leader's house to play the MAFIA game and we had a great time there.

It's now 3am in the morning and yes, I just got home from a pretty sexy night just today. After running through my busyness in office today thanks to the upcoming PC Fair next week (1-3 August), I left office for home at about 6.10pm. Was irratated by the finger print signing in and out system. Perhaps, it was just me that have problem with the finger print identification. LOL...

I was the back up singer for Osbert in tonight's COUZ Night in church and a good 200+ people from various churches came together to hear our one and only SEXCELLENT speaker who is also a sexpert, Pastor Victor Wong, talk about the topic premarital sex. The theme for tonight was so happen to be "sex under the city". After the service ended about 11.15pm, I made my way to One Utama to catch a midnight movie, "sex and the city". LOL... That is way I said I had a sexciting night just now!! haha

Had a pretty busy work in office today though as KL and JB PC Fair is approaching soon. Specifically, next weekend. Just then, I was in church for some media and program manager training till about 9+ and came home.

Was invited by my friend today to myFM 10th Anniversary @ Genting next month. I'm expected to shoot and blog about it with an all access pass coming along the way! weee... too bad smashpop nor shaolintiger can join me due to their busy schedules.

Anyway, here's today's main topic!! My friend Lenard is currently with a band called beat the system. They will be at discovery stage @ Cineleisure on the 2nd of August! I'm telling you that they are a bunch of really cool musicians!! =D

Kinda tired and sleepy today. Just came home from my usual Tuesday badminton routine with ShaolinTiger, Nicho and a few more friends. Dunno why but just simply tired and sleepy so am going to sleep soon instead of posting up any photos or updates on Hennessy Artistry nor Sushi Zanmai nor etc...

.15-20 July 2008. Malaysia International Jewellery Fair @ KLCC Hall 4 & 5

Just came back from a simple dinner with MaySzin, ShinLu, Corinna and EeChing @ Sushi Zanmai, The Gardens. First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MAYZ!! Wishing you a blessed birthday and many colourful years ahead!!

I basically spent the whole of my last week (6days) in KL Convention Centre for work purpose. It was my first time handling an exhibition in KLCC though after my first project was done in PWTC. Although my job may sound a little tiring or boring, but I did enjoy myself the whole week there getting to learn alot of protocols, human behaviour and also getting to know more people. Yesterday I stayed back till about 2.45am for the handover of the hall back to KLCC management and reached home and slept about 3.30am. (So, today work halfday only lo)

Am looking forward to my next project which will be KL PC Fair II @ KLCC. A total of 8 halls will be used and I'm sure it will be one of the busiest project that I'm going to handle.

It's now 1.15am and I'm live blogging from Hall 4&5 of KL Convention Centre. Pico staffs is currently loading up all the stuffs into the lorries and am waiting patiently and restlessly for them to clear up the entire hall so that I can proceed on to "handover" the hall back to KLCC management. That's the kind of job that I'm doing now though. Kinda interesting, challenging, tiring but fun! At least, to me. As long as you enjoy doing something or try making yourself enjoy it, anything would be fine! =D LOL...

Tak update blog semalam coz kat KLCC whole day then pigi watch DARK KNIGHT @ One Utama, 12.30am show till 3am ++. Barely slept. LOL... But it was a movie worth staying up late though!! 9.5/10 !! Go watch go watch!!

Yeay!! It's today!! I'm live blogging in KLCC Hall 4 & 5 (10.15am) as the Malaysia International Jewellery Fair kicks off today. In fact, is a matter of anytime SOOONN... YABhg Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong will be officiating in what it's claimed to be the largest Jewellery Fair?? I don't know how true it is but correct me if I'm wrong to those jewels freaks out there.. LOL...

Many companies from overseas is here to display their finest artwork in jewelleries, diamonds, gems and many more preciousssss...... I mean, girl's best friendS!! hahaha... One more thing, there's gonna be lotsa leng luis and perhaps some leng chais here too... So do come over if you are around in KLCC. This fair will end only on Sunday, so plenty of time left...

Another 35 minutes to 6pm and I'm anticipating very much to leave Hall 4 & 5 of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. LOL... Today was the setting up for Malaysia International Jewellery Fair kicking of this Thursday here. Done pretty much nothing the whole ay here except checking the arrangements of furnitures and fascia names at the exhibition booths.

Had lunch @ Sakae Sushi, KLCC with bro ZhenBin who walked all the way from Citibank!! Pai seh la.. Thanks for the treat though!! =D Owe you one big meal at the end of the month!! haha.. Think what you wanto whack me when i get my first paycheck la.. ROFL... =D

Tomorrow will be another long day as the exhibitors across the country and overseas coming in to set up their respective booths. Am looking forward to tonight's badminton session with Nic and ShaolinTiger. Anyone wanna join?? hehe..

Like I mentioned yesterday, was with my family @ My Elephant Restaurant in PJ, Section 17. Thanks to Rachel who made the reservation for me, got my table at about 8.10pm. The crowd was crazy and there's still people waiting even till 8.45pm.

Anyway, ordered some of the same dish as before but the signature Snow Fish was already sold out. Abit sad loo... But got another good replacement though.

Was given a huge responsibility today when I was told that I would be involve in this upcoming International Air Cargo Conference and Exhibition Fair in KLCC this November. Owh oooo...... International Airlines from all over the world is coming leh and I'm going to deal with them.. Hehe..

Anywayz, there is an on going Beauty Expo starting tomorrow in KLCC and next Thursday, I'll be handling the Malaysia International Jewellery Fair in KLCC as well!! So, anyone looking for anything for their partner can come look for me also k?? LOL...

This should be my last updates on my KK Trip. First we bought some souvenirs home from Duty Free shops and then we headed to the World War II Memorial Garden where all the tombs of the past soldiers were all fitted in , perfectly arranged. We also went to the Marine Museum to see various kinds of fishes and then ate lunch in KFC (with Smirnoff to add into our cokes) haha..

3 more hours left and we played a few games of pool in Labuan before we went on to the beach to finish up the remaining Smirnoff!! Melvyn was the lead drinker with Daniel and Aiyoman as his left and right hand man. LOL... Finally, it was time to bid goodbye to Labuan and also the end of our 6 days KK expedition and Labuan Exploration. Can't wait to climb Mount Kinabalu again. But for now, my next adventure should be diving. Perhaps, somewhere during the year end!! WWEEEEE.... SIPADAN DIVE IS NEXT!

After weeks of anticipation and with my fading hopes and laziness to follow up, my lucky draw prize is finally on the way!! I never thought they would deliver it at night though. LOL!!! I only know there are night delivery for fast foods only.. hahaha..

Anyway, am writing up this post while waiting for the delivery guy from FlyingFrogz to send me my brand new TOSHIBA 32" Plasma LCD Screen. They actually agreed to send it to me at night coz of my busy'ness with my work!! Weeee~ Anyone wanna buy for off the market best price?? hahaha...

It was my first day going for an on-site project and PWTC was a good place to start off as I was quite familiar with the venue. The current project I'm handling, as I've mentioned before, is Malaysia International Dive Expo 2008 which is happening this weekend (Friday - Sunday, 4-6 July, 10.00am - 7.00pm). Diving enthusiasts can drop by PWTC to check out more!! LOL...

I've learned alot today and I'm expecting more to come tomorrow especially when I get to meet all the exhibitors from various companies!! Looking forward for tomorrow's work!

Anywayz, first day in office was rather boring coz nothing much to do except going through my orientation program and also reading through my company's ISO and also background of Pico. Made alot of new friends of course, but I cant remember all the names of my colleagues and I can't even recognise who is who yet!! LOL...

Today was my second day of work though. Get to know my colleagues better and followed my team leader to meet my clients, PIKOM, which I'm gonna deal with soon for the PC FAIR!! See you people at KLCC!! LOL...

There was also 3 new staff who reported for work today and glad that I'm not alone the new baby! haha.. Can't wait to start my first "on-site" project tomorrow at PWTC for the upcoming International Dive Expo 2008 from 4-6 July. Those interested in diving or watersports wan cane come PWTC this weekend!!

Just came home from a gathering dinner organised by Rachel at her friend's restaurant. It was Thai food and it is a highly recommended place to makan dinner if you are looking for Thai delicacy. It is located just a block away from Food Foundry and Six-to-Ten Nasi Lemak restaurants if you need landmarks.

Anyway, it's quite a cozy place to hang out as well and a good place for gathering or celebrations! And here's the place and we were there!

.140608. All Malaysian Bloggers Project Gathering @ Cineleisure

Just before I go into the live blogging event, I remembered I attended this AMBP gathering @ Cineleisure 2 weeks ago and also the special screening of Incredible Hulk. Not much photos though but I thought today was the best time to write abit about that day.

It was a joint organised event by AMBP, Microsoft and also CinemaOnline. It was a time of sharing by a few bloggers and also some presentation by Microsoft and also CinemaOnline. After the gathering, there was a special screening for the participants of Incredible Hulk and the movie was simply cool!

But the most important part of the gathering that caught most people's attention was the personality test provided by Star-Jobs Online. It's basically a test to see which field of interest that suits your career most! And since I was looking for a job, I thought of trying it out.

And....

*there were a total of 7 field of interest or abilities*

*this was how i fair!! I got the highest for SERVICING though!!*

Upon completing the test, I have to seperate the cards of interest and see which category I score the most cards. Without much surprise, I score 7 cards for "servicing" and 6 others for "influencing, adventuring and creating". The lady on duty that day told me that my interest was dealing with people. That's right I thought to myself. The only thing left for me to think about was which industry that really suits me? I could be a Sales Engineer, IT consulting, Business Management Trainee and what not. Finally, I thought event and people was what I really liked most!

One day, BengHan told me about an opening in his company and asked if I would like to send in my application and I thought, no harm trying! So I went for interview and today I got a call from the company and they offered me a job!! LOL... I'm hired...

Best part, company just 5 minutes away from home, good working environment, well established company, got kawan inside, good offer and my type of job. Thank God for his divine appointment and plan! Now, is up to me to really work extra hard and do my best!!

Back to Euro2008. Looking forward to the 2 semi-finals. Germany and Turkey in few hours time. Spain and Russia in the other semi-final tie. May the better team wins!

If you haven't play before, you must seriously consider and give it a try. It can be damn funny at times!! SmashpOp joined us at lookout point itself and we met 2 Joshuas up there!! =D

Last Saturday, I went to this bloggers' tea gathering @ bangsar village presented by Advertlets. Thanks UncleJosh for rsvp'ing for me and thanks RasAngela and JoshLim for inviting me!

Met up with Jason, Simon and Karena for brunch @ Nirvana Maju Curry House just across Bangsar Village Complex just before the gathering. After that, met up with the double Joshua (JoshLee and JoshLim) at the event hall up on the top floor of Bangsar Village (new wing i suppose). We were rather early though but then the crowd start to pour in. We had a good gathering and meet new friends though. Good food by Dlish, good chat with one another and good exposure to the various company that promoted health products and issues there itself.

Am looking forward to JoshLim's next big plan!! And I'm pretty sure he's coming up with big and fruitful events lining up ahead. Here's some photos.

Woke up damn early la despite sleeping at 4am+. So decided to continue my CGYT post.

Like I said, whenever you see DavidLai you'll see him entertaining people with his freaking tricks!! And there was this game called "suck-and-blow with a touch-n-go". How rhythmic the title of the games go. I'm pretty sure that most of us has seen this game before but just, not with a touch-n-go card of course. It's usually played with poker cards. And the girls were really really good in this game, just that I don't understand why our 2 guys couldn't do it. hahaha =D

Later, I got punked by RandyKhoo with his card tricks. Damn amazing lor which i still cannot figure out yet how he and also david did that. Haha... The dance floor was then packed with people as they enjoy a round of a dance after the chats and magics.

More adventure, water sports @ Manukan Beach. Next up was parasailing and it was my first time again. Usually I thought banana boats and parasailing was like by the beach side. But not in Sabah coz both of the rides was in the middle of the sea (not literally though) haha..

But it was fun!! I partnered Daniel to balance up the weight but still managed to spoil the rolling motor!! ahahha... =D aiyoman with kweiyee and jyhyian with seowwei!! It's really cool being hung up there looking across the ocean and feeling the breeze hitting gently against your face and the best part is of course when they lowered us down and drag us against the sea water.

Made of Honour done and I was deciding again on Manukan Beach vs Gasoline, Lookout Point!! Hahaha.. Too much photos from KK Trip already so i better update some first. And so, we were off to Manukan Beach which is just 15 minutes away from Mamutik Beach. Manukan Beach is supposingly famous for the longest beach. There were many people there and the amount of JELLYFISH!! is just as much!! haha =D

So, we didnt snokerl but ventured into some WaterSports!! Jon, our negotiator, talked to the "fella" and managed to get good price for both Banana Boat ride and also ParaSailing. Believe it or not it was my first experience in both sports!! And it was really really expensive!!

Anyway, let the fun begin!!

Here are some random photos from Mamutik Beach. Didn't take any photos of us doing snokerling though coz none of our camera is waterproof!! haha.. It was super hot that day and all of us was attacked by baby jellyfish during our snokerl. There's this wierd pink fish who also attacked some of us on the head!! haha.. damn funny..

But the experience of snokerling was pretty cool and great!! Hoping to take up diving soon. Anyone wanna join me?? =D Pulau Sipadan should be one of the best spot in the world for diving kan??

Well, I didn't have time and mood to update my blog yesterday to due some reasons... Anyway, attended an 'All Malaysian Bloggers' gathering at The Curve (thanks UncleJosh for inviting) from 11.00am - 5.00pm (including a movie screening of Incredible Hulk).

Then at night, was at Hakka Restaurant with my family and cousins to celebrate my Grandma's big big 80th birthday!! =D Love her very very much for she's the one that took care of me since young, cooked delicious food for me all these years and finally taught me how to be a good boy! =p (as all grandparents would do)

After dinner, we went home and suddenly UncleJosh calls me asking, "Wanna go Poppy??" I was like.... "Call you back later". It has been so long since I last went to club though and since today has been quite moodilicious for me, I have decided just to go down and meet some old friends and chit chat and watch Euro2008!! To my surprise!!! The whole place was damn packed but I had a great time meeting friends all over in Poppy Garden (located next to RumJungle along Jalan P. Ramlee).

And there goes my Saturday night thanks to UncleJoshie again who provoked me!! haha... *cheerz* people!! have a blessed week ahead!! =D

Just 1 day after I submitted my first ever entry for a nuffnang event, here's another one for Nuffnang Exclusive Private Screening - Hancock. I think it's going to be a cool night where bloggers from all over can get together that night, exchanging thoughts and contacts, chit chat a little, enjoy the movie and finally have a super big group going 'yum cha' or a drinking session after that!

Alright, nonsense aside. I was supposed to write about any super hero in reality would be and after thinking to myself as in who to write, I finally decided on Spiderman, the movie where most of us would be familiar with the quote "With great power comes great responsibilities!".

And so, I thought to myself, if Peter Parker a.k.a Spiderman is living in the real world, the DBKL workers are going to have a hard time cleaning the spiderwebs all over the city. This fella (spiderman) swinging happily from one place to another with his "go web go" webs but then never bother to clear up his mess wan wor. How?? haha, the public cleaners need to do the job lo!

Then, Transformers came into the picture. If they are real, I bet they are going to be so pissed with the increase of petrol price!! haha =D RM 2.70/litre??? Or, do they use Diesel?? I wonder...

Stories over and back into the real, real world. Will Smith in the upcoming movie Hancock where we will see how superheroes live in the real world!

Alrights... Back to my KK Trip photos and we're off to the beach after 2 restless days trying to conquer Mount Kinabalu. Time for some more "relaxing" activities. haha

And so, thanks to Fabian, aiyoman's hometown friend who helped us settled all the neccessary arrangements for our snokerling trip! First we headed to Mamutik Island which is just 20 minutes away from KK jetty. Thank God, it was a bright and sunny day! =D (so sunny till we have sunburn!!)

Alright, KK Trip aside first. It's all about Wild 'Live' Blogging that is happening on the 21st of June 2008 @ Modesto's/Rain, Desa Sri Hartamas, starting from 6.30pm till 10.00pm. It will be the first 'live blogging' gathering in South East Asia thanks to Nuffnang and powered by Maxis Broadband!! Time for party and blog at the same time...

Well, this would be my first entry for a Nuffnang event though and I didn't really know what to write at the first place. But I do know that I need to come up with a drawing or a picture of any animal of my liking in my blog and link it to the Nuffnang Wild 'Live' Blogging page. It seems to me that most bloggers did posted up alot of photos of various animals and so, to be in line with them, i decided to talk a little about animals of my likings and finally present to you a drawing of an animal of my liking, or rather, an insect of my liking. (To be honest, I'm really bad at drawings)

I personally enjoy fishing. Since young, I have been following my dad to many places (mostly at ponds) for fishing trips. Eventually, I became a fish lover. Here's a photo of me in my first experience of sea-fishing where I had to sail 5 hours, from jetty, to the middle of the sea somewhere in Perak (Kuala Sepetang).

Next, I was thinking of what to wear if I were to go to this event since the dress code was 'animal' themed. Then I thought to myself, a lion dance costume will need 2 person kan? Hmmm... (am still thinking what to wear)

Now comes to the part where common pets are found in most household. I believe the saying "Dog is Men's Best Friend" is quite true because dogs can always accompany us when we are lonely or even protect us when we are in danger of being attack. (Mind me, I don't mean to criticise any other animals k?)

The following animal is one of the oddest I've ever seen. Initially I wanted to choose this picture as my featured animal but I thought originality was important so I decided to draw one, though my drawing sucks. I took this 2 photos from Beverly (with permission of course =p). I remembered long ago she blogged about this animal and I thought it was rather interesting and decided to put in as part of my post. This animal is called Llama and has the look like a donkey, sheep and camel, at least, according Ms Beverly. Haha...

Finally I have decided on what to draw. It would be one of the easiest creature or wild life that can be found in most places (gardens, parks, roadsides and even in the jungle). In fact, I am assuming that there could be one or two person that might come to the event dressing up like a butterfly right? (maybe not)

.310508. Mount Kinabalu Low's Peak

Not going to write much tonight coz am down with a slight fever, bad flu and sorethroat. Haihh~ Anywayz, here are some photos of my journey to the peak of Mount Kinabalu.

I almost gave up halfway with just 700 metres left! So, you can imagine how tough it was!! But... Thank God, despite being the one who almost gave up, I was first to reach the peak among my group of kawanz!! hahaha.. Thanks guyz for cheering me up all the way!! Mount Kinabalu Climb Begins....

.300508. Mount Kinabalu Climbing Day 1

Alright... Celebrations aside and back to my KK Expedition. And so, the day has finally arrived!! It was the 2nd day of my trip and we woke up at about 3.30am in the morning and left our backpackers hotel at about 4am to Mesilau (The longer route to Laban Rata, midway to the peak). We stopped by at Kundasang for a short while coz the drivers were hungry and the rest of us shared cups of Milo. Once again we asked ourselves, "are we seriously ready for the climb???"

We reached Mesilau at about 7.30am and after collecting our passes and a short briefing from our guides, we then started "the climb of our life" at about 8.00am. Just as excited as we were, we started off well and shouted along our way up but it lasted only for like the first 100 metres and then beyond the fades of our shouts, we can then only hear the sound of the nature and also our fast-paced breath. We were so excited when we reached the first signboard written "0.5km". I was like WTH?? and OMG!! We walked for so long and it's only 500 metres from the starting point. From then on, we knew that it was not going to be easy. It's going to be a hard, tough and difficult.

We were told that the Mesilau route offers an awesome view @ KM 5 and we were so desperate to reach there as soon as possible. At KM 3, believe me, we were like half dead. haha.. When we finally reached KM 5, I tell you, every single step and drops of sweat is just so worth it!! The view was simply awesome and fantastic!! Even my photos can tell how awesome it is except if you go and witness it yourself!!

Another 3 KM to go and I brace myself all the way and finally I reached this place called Laban Rata together with Daniel at about 5.00pm. We were so super tired and super hungry and the best part was my guide has not arrived and the registeration staff told me that I cannot register first. Worst still, I cannot eat the food yet that lay in the restaurant before my eyes!! OMG.. I told Daniel, "Let's get some crackers or biscuit"!! I was shocked when the lady cashier told me that one can of Mister Potato cost RM 15 and a bottle of 1.5L mineral water cost RM 10. I told Daniel I rather die starving then. haha...

Finally I got to eat at about 5.30pm when my guide reached together with a few of my friends and without mercy, we attached the buffet bar!! =D Ate as if we haven't eaten for days!! The view was splendid and after snapping a few photos I couldn't help myself but to get changed and then wait for the rest to reach. Unfortunately Daniel suffered a minor leg cramp and KweiYee a.k.a dailou had a high fever that day. We took good care of KweiYee then before going to sleep and we had to have enough rest before waking up at 1.30am the next morning to continue our climb to the PEAK!!

It's My Day Again!!!

It's been 23 years already since I first came into this planet called Earth, and I thank God that I'm still here today! Thanks to all the wishes!!

Well, kicked off a pre-celebration at F&N Freestylz @ Curve the night before and to my surprise, I had an early birthday gift from the organiser. Hahaha... Got myself a Plasma TV (which I don't know the size and brand yet till Tuesday) thanks to a lucky draw for the media people. Whatever it is, I gotta thank Mayz for making me a Nuffnanger, Sue for inviting me, Nuffnang for creating possibilities and F&N for the exciting 'Freestylz' event! =D Thanks LeePing for temaning me at 12midnight to kick start my birthday!!

This morning, I went to Church and Ps Edmund Chan from Singapore gave a brilliant sermon on "How to overcome a bad day!" It was rather inspiring and I will always live on to the 5 keys he mentioned! Those that wanna know how can come find me. hehe.. Thanks Jessie for the delicious lunch @ Oldtown Kopitiam, Jaya One. What a day it was to celebrate my day when i scored the winner in my weekly Sunday football game!!

Then I went home for dinner with my family since it was also "dumpling festival". Go home makan dumpling for dinner.. haha.. =D Thanks mom and dad for the biggie red packet, 2nd sister for treating me to the SIBKL Men's Conference on Friday and also my grandma for the delicious dinner!!

To cap my day, not forgetting my bunch of crazy MMU friends who then celebrated for me @ Murni, SS2. We had loads of fun and laughter as we see our KK Trip photos on Vic's laptop! Oh, thanks guyz for the cake! =D

Expedisi Kota Kinabalu Part Ke-2

And so... After I kena punked singing "Words" at KDCA, we left and headed to the Kadazan Cultural Village itself also known as Monsopiad Cultural Village where Monsopiad stands for the brave warrior that protects the village from intruders or "orang jahat" (bad people). Basically we get to see all the various kinds of cultural activities that they do and the beautiful cultural items that they own. From rice-wine to weapons and all sorts of cultural heritage that the Kadazan people own from one generation to the other, all the way down till today. This is a tourist spot that would attract those who love heritage stuffs and histories.

After getting our adidas kampung climbing shoe (for RM6 only), we got back to our "hotel" and wash up abit before he went for a quick dinner at some "big fry" restaurant. Few of us went back to the hotel to rest and sleep while few others went to the Filipino Market to grab some bananas for tomorrow's Mount Kinabalu expedition.

Kota Kinabalu Expedition Begins...

.290508. Day 1 @ Kota Kinabalu

As written in my previous post, I was away for 6 days for my first ever Mount Kinabalu Expedition (though I'm not sure if there's a second time) with my 10 other unimates. All of us left for LCCT at about 4.15 am since our flight was 6.50am. In the midst of our excitement, there's still a question that kept haunting us, "Are we seriously ready for the climb??" (not applicable to Melvyn though)

And so our plane departed quite punctually at 6.50am and KK, HERE WE COME!!! The plane was rather full as we were one of the last group to move in and the best part is a stranger sat next to me was wearing a red Man Utd jacket!!! Wooooo~ *cheerz* to Man Utd for a superb season again with a double!! Reached KK at about 9am and straight checked-in into this backpacker stay called "Borneo Adventure Centre & Lodge", (quite a cool place to stay though), after which we then headed to KDCA (some cultural place) to witness the pre-celebration of the Kadazan Harvest Festival (the actual day was the next day).

We makaned our first meal there, we walked around and see the cultural heritage of the Kadazan people. The setting was pretty, weather was great (freaking hot) and we managed to spot some beautiful people doing their cultural activities such as doing handicrafts, playing musical instruments and the best part is we saw this kids playing with some worm which they called "ulat putut" found in those huge sago tree trunk. My dad say is termite queen and it was edible. *yucks*

So there I go choosing song from this songbook and finally made up my mind to sing "Words" by Bee Gees. And of course, later JyhYian also kena punked by singing "Hey Jude" by the Beatles.

Hello people!!! I'm finally back from my Mount Kinabalu Expedition and Labuan Exploration!! And... Yes!! What a time to be back home hoping to rejuvenate my energy after a freaking tiring climb to the Low's Peak, The Summit of Mount Kinabalu, only to be spoiled by the news of the vicious petrol increase!!!

Was lying down restlessly on my bed after coming home from job interview when I received my first sms about the petrol price increase from POP at about 5pm. Then.... the sms alerts came queuing in one by one!! It has to be TRUE!! It took me a while to actually get to the point because I was so freaking tired and I was having a lil headache. And so, when I woke up at about 9pm, it is confirmed that the petrol price is going up to rm2.70!!! OMG... HOW??? HOW??? Am gonna start work soon somemore... charmz ler...

You can either choose not to drive and take public transport!! or EAT LESS, PLAY LESS, CLUB LESS, MINUS ALL THE UNNECESSARY ACTIVITIES and PAY FOR YOUR CAR!!

Well, I really like a post that ZEWT pointed out!! Go read it people!! Is a good post and it will strike your mind!! I'm sure everyone is talking about RM2.70 now! and it shall last for few weeks from now..... I should continue no more here.... Woooo~ The day I've been waiting for has finally arrived!! =D Gonna go "Shout To The Lord" together with Hillsong United!! Yeay!! Can't wait!! Can't wait!!

Tomorrow lagi syiok!! Will be leaving for my long-planned Mount KK expedition and Labuan exploration trip with my Uni friends. In fact, after the Hillsong concert I'll be going to my friend's house to overnight and we gotta leave for LCCT at 4am!!! *die* Gonna be super tired coz i doubt I can sleep with the excitement inside me!! haha

Memoir Affair 08'

*Ahem*... If you all noticed, my ticket number is actually "0001"!!! Hahaha... Bought the first ticket from Pastor Gwen when it first arrived about a month ago!! Super excited about it then that I bought the tickets just hours after they arrived at Glad Tidings... Haha..

Anyway, back to my topic, and so, it was a memoir affair indeed on Sunday when some of the final year students from MMU gathered in a privately organised gathering dinner @ Bixby. Well, just hours before I reached Bixby I was lingering around @ Mid Valley and saw this Kung Fu Panda promo at center court. I was stunned by the little kids as seen in my picture when they hit the stage with their breakdancing skills that rocked the crowd!! Cool~, I thought. Then this little "uncle panda" came on stage to join the kung fu kids... Cute...

Brian and I reached Bixby at about 7pm before the rest joined us at about 7.30pm. The place was not bad for a crowd that is not too big and the food was simply delicious and for RM 50, I think is quite worth it if you can eat alot. Some of the main dishes (buffet style) includes grill lamb, grill chicken, grill stingry, grill sotong, grill sausage, spagetthi, fried rice, wedges, "lala", and of course there were salad bar, fruits, soup, ice kacang and drinks. Had a really "filling" night though.

Had this really unique "ice-like" door gift that will blink when you dip it into te water. Performance was rather normal and the games was a little boring (at least to me) and I feel the atmosphere wasn't really that good. However, at least we enjoyed a final gathering dinner though after our final finalz.

Next up.... Looking forward to my KK trip, as said, coming up on Thursday!! Weeeee....~

Last Day With B1-3-7

.260508. Spring Cleaning @ Cyberjaya Home

3 years already since I first stepped my foot into Cyberia Condo (B1-3-7) after suffering 1 year in MMU's on-campus hostel with Jon... Hahaha.. And today, JyhYian, XiaoYun + SK, Daniel, Brian, and myself finally shift out from the unit. It took us around 7 hours to get all our unwanted stuffs OUT (only to be collected by scavengers) and for the first time did a spring cleaning in our unit. It was really tiring though but a good training for our upcoming KK trip this Thursday =p

Well, at the end of the cleaning spree, there was a sense of heavy heart deep inside me though to really leave this place and move on in life with parting ways. I lie on the floor, in my room, thinking back those moments when we first moved into Cyberia and of course with Jon that time, my roomie, the feeling of being a Uni student was so cool especially when we get together for parties, outings and doing activities together.

I know those days are as good as over after the FINAL trip we are going to have this coming Thursday. I really hope all of us could enjoy the most of it as we try to conquer the top of Mount Kinabalu and snorkel along Sabah beach as well as explore the wonders of Labuan. After all that, we will then start a new chapter of life, WORK, specifically.

Champions Of Europe!!

Just came home from one of the most dramatic penalty shootout in a European Champions League Final history. It was the moment of truth as who was to be crown champions of Europe in the land of Russia. Daniel and I decided to invade Oldtown Kopitiam in Cyberjaya as the spot for the UCL grand finale!! To our suprise, the place was already jammed packed with United (majority) and Chelsea supporters when we actually arrived at 1.45am.

Thanks to Daniel who spotted 'Padi' with empty spaces, we quickly grab a few tables and reserved the best seats for that night (or morning). And soon, the rest joined in, about 20 of us, together with hundreds around. The atmosphere and crowd was rather heated up with excitement!! And so the match kicked off with Man Utd controlling well for the next 35 minutes. Ronaldo played well enough today and managed to score a brilliant header after finding a cross from Brown who completed a perfect 1-2 pass with Scholes. Just at the stroke of half time, Lampart found the equaliser after a deflected shot from Essien through a scrappy looking United defence which wrong-footed Van Der Sar.

Second half and extra time was rather boring and average respectively with some few nice chances from United who just couldnt score and Chelsea hitting the wood twice. Then came one of the most thrilling and nerve-shredding penalty shootout I've ever witness. With Chelsea leading 4-4 with an extra shot, it looked as if Terry was going to seal the game after Van Der Sar dived the wrong way.

But...........................................

Lady luck was on United's side and the woodwork did it's wonders again to United's favour. The whole crowd screamed like mad and I almost lost my voice that moment! And so we all (majority) chanted for United and finally Anelka's kick was brilliantly saved by Van Der Sar to seal the European crown!!! The fans ran wild and we shouted our lungs out, hugging each other and exchanging "high fives"!!!

I tell you, it was definitely, without a single doubt, a brilliant season for Man Utd and to wrap it up with such a astonishing fashion is simply remarkable. Looking forward to the next season and may the best team wins again! =D

finally.....

Seriously, after taking a break from blogging for my FINAL 'final exams', I'm kinda lost though as to which photo I wanna get posted up first... Hrmmm...

Let's celebrate dulu lah!! So, last Friday and Saturday morning were the FINAL exam moments of my life (at least for the moment if I'm not doing any Masters) For almost 60 hours I only slept like say.. 4 hours? But the exam was good...

And so, right after my paper on Saturday, I went Malacca for a photoshoot with a bunch of friends to gather back some of our Alpha days' memories. Thanks KweiYee a.k.a dailou for fetching me coz I know for sure I wouldnt make it even to the toll with my condition that time.. haha..

Feeling nostalgic right at the moment we step onto the familiar looking floors of CLC but we thought that the place was seriously not well maintained though. Looks kinda old and faded d, but still we had a great time shooting around the campus!!

Bee King's Wedding Night!

.100508. Ah Kee N' Bee King Wedding @ Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel

A post wedding dinner update on my dear cell member, Bee King's auspicious night!! Most of the Goshen cell members arrived at about 6pm @ Sunway Hotel Grand Ballroom. Thanks father-to-be 'Lui kor kor' for fetching me both day and night last Saturday. We had to reach early that evening to do sound check and final rehearsal for our song presentation for Bee King and her hubby. The settings was lovely and I was stunned by the beautiful huge ballroom where I have to do my Solo ending for Bee King!! Oh no!! 80 tables = 800 audience!!! Anyway, since it's Bee King's night and it's only gonna be that short 20 seconds perhaps, I'll do it for her!!

The night started off as Sai Kit, Goshen's cell leader, Emcee'd the night by welcoming the lovely couple into the hall, onto the stage for cutting of the wedding cake ceremony! Bee King was indeed stunningly gorgeous that night and Ah Kee was at his best too! Well, after the couple toss, 5th dish and Sai Kit's story telling, it was time for our song presentation!! We presented 2 songs for them that night. The first was "I love you for sentimental reasons" and continued with"L O V E" with Jin May on the keyboard. I assume the crowd loved our performances after some post dinner comments when we were leaving the hotel by some friends and I hope my solo part didn't screw up as I think it could have been. haha..

Well, Chris and I had more than 10 glasses of wine that evening while Jason and Lui enjoyed their privately ordered coffee!! I can say that the wedding banquet went smoothly that night and I am sure Bee King and hubby enjoyed the most out of it! Once again, CONGRATULATIONS and may God showers His Blessings upon your marriage. Wishing you plenty of wonderful years ahead and happy honeymoon! =D

How Awesome!!!

Just about 2 months ago I went to PJEFC church to listen to a message from a Pastor whom I can't recall the name at the moment. He spoke on the topic WORSHIP. And the word awesome in those days was meant to acknowledge God's presence and Glory. Today I can really use the word AWESOME because I could feel God's presence during worship today and it was really really awesome and powerful!! Never have I felt before God's presence like the one I did today and so happened today is Pentecost Sunday where the Holy Spirit came down 40 days after Jesus resurrection. During the third song, I can only stand there with my tears flowing down and words just couldn't come out from my mouth. It must be God. I stood there so in peace and amazed by the glory and presence of God. It was truly an amazing experience and feeling to be by His side!

Another special occasion of course today as it's Mother's Day and I would love to extend my wishes to all moms out there a Blessed Mother's Day!! And I love my mom and grandmother very very much! =D

Get charged up guyz and gurlz for a brand new week ahead! God bless and have a pleasant week in whatever you are doing. Be it in work, college, university, or at home!

A Shooting Memory

It was my sifu, Brian's idea to do a photoshoot with some of our closest MMU friends for an album making before we finally bid farewell to everyone after our final FINALS... At least after 5 years of being together, going through the ups and downs from Malacca to Cyberjaya, we still get to keep something that will bring back fresh memories to us somewhere in the future when we look back at our University life's photos.

Although not everyone was able to attend the photoshoot, we still had a great time especially with Alan's trademark poses and also a "damn funny" photo taken by Vic which I will only post up later.

The 2nd and final shoot will be done only after Brian's finals, 22 May. Hopefully everyone would be able to come and have a final group shot in MMU itself.

Hey people!! Heard of about One U new-new wing?? Haha.. It's just the new block next to One World Hotel. Anyway, Storybook Couture is a new fashion boutique located near TGV Cinema, but one floor below (Watsons). To be exact, its opposite Seoul Garden Restaurant and in between Pick N Brew Restaurant and White Store.

They have their own designer by the name of Kelvin Tan and I think it's really worth taking a look at those pretty dresses especially for girls coz no guyz clothes one. ><>

Their thoughts... "No, we don't sell books. We let you mix and match. We let you tell your stories. It can be a pink day, a green day, a yellow day or a black day. You decide, it's your playground. Your ideas are limitless, so are our clothes. So come find us, there's plenty of tales to weave."

Fashion Show At One Utama

Today was my first time attending a fashion show in a shopping complex though as my previous one was in Zouk KL. Reached around 10.30am as told by my sifu but the photographers area was already packed with "campers". But, Brian, Vic and I still managed to grab a "not so bad" spot.

"Storybook Couture" co-owner, Debbie (sifu's friend) mentioned to sifu that her company will be participating in a fashion show event and he was more than happy to shoot for her, so, Vic and I were also there! In fact, it was in conjuction with the Fashion Week in One Utama as mentioned in my previous MDG posts.

Wasn't satisfied with my photos though coz was having a tough time squatting down to shoot with my sifu 70-300mm lens which i have to manually focus on my d40. Aduhh~ But, it was a good experience though coz I got to learn some new shooting skills that day =D

TNB Took My Night Away!!

Short-note: Happy Labour Day to all working people and also students... hehehe =D hope you guyz enjoyed a good day tho. So sorry for LIVERPOOL... Chelsea's next! Sorry folks, just got back my electricity, tak sempat wanna upload MDG photo for now... super tired, sleepy plus a lil sick...

2 incident today that tells me there will be no electricity today...
1) Went Giant with mom and dad to get groceries and somehow I so wanted to get a new set of torchlight which suddenly came into my mind...
2) Wanted to bring my clothes, towel and shampoo all to futsal court to bathe there before I come home...

True enough, when I came home, half of Desa Parkcity was pitch black!! At least, my area was affected since 10pm or so. Only managed to change my smelly dirty jersey before coming back home from futsal and was desperate for shower. Since my whole house punya toilet's showerhead depended on the "booster" (electrical depended system), so I got no choice but to go somewhere downstairs my house near the kitchen to get a quick shower!! OMG... Daym charmz... Wore my swimming trunks to bathe there, it was pitch dark though but was afraid if I bathe halfway suddenly got light... hahahaha!!

Anyway, thank God for a good shower time and wa refresh after that. Next I got to have "candlelight" dinner alone while the mosquitoes are having theirs below the dining table. Aduhh~ charmz wehh.... Been quite some time since I last experienced electricityless!! But it was cool though coz all my experiences in the Boys' Brigade weren't wasted for sure!! haha SMASHPOP TERUK!! SMS me say nice romantic dinner somemore!!

haha... anyway, better get all my photos done first and post it up... Chiaoz people!! Don't take your electricity for granted!! Learn to save them and make full use of them!! *cheerz*

MDG Finale Part 2

Short-note: And so, "Fashion on 1" is actually a whole week event thingy till may 4th. Photographers!! Go shoot!! Chelsea vs Liverpool at 2.45am tomorrow morning.

And so, Mayz and I arrived at One-U about 6.15pm and we registered ourselves at the registeration booth as Nuffnang invitees. The crowd started to come in and the Oval LG platform was seperated into 2. One for the normal guest and the other, "not so normal" guest and also sponsors. Of course, I took along the Photographer tag which I pretty much did not do much without my sifu's tele lense.

Met a few "entertainment line" people there which I'm lazy to list out. Bloggers that was there: pinkpau, shaolintiger, kennysia (of course la, judge!), kinkybluefairy, mayzism (the one that won nuffnang mdg slogan contest of coz) and many more...

And so, there was this guy from "So you think you can dance", one of the finalist which I forgot his name came out to the stage and strut his stuffs to gear up the crowds. Then, came Elaine Daly (MC for the night), glittered the stage with her beautiful voice and dress and kicked start the event by inviting all the 12 finalist on stage.

Everyone started to applaud loudly, welcoming all the 12 finalist that had journeyed thus far. When the top 3, Hanis, Adeline and Cindy, came out, you can hear a distinctive chants and shouts from the crowds from LG all the way up to Level 3 balcony.

Man Utd In The Finals!!

It's all up to Chelsea and Liverpool as to who will be joining Manchester United in the all-English European Champions League Finals for the first time in the history of the competition!!

It was Man Utd who came through at the end of a pulsating 2nd leg semi final clash against Barcelona at Old Trafford thanks to a stunning unstoppable strike from Paul Scholes in the first half.

Messi played very well but just not good enough to break the red devil's defence with Ferdinand and Brown both performing extremely well. Sorry Barca, there's always next season though.

Short-note: Just came back from MDG Season 1 Finale @ One-U. Met alot of other bloggers. Thanks to Mayz, we both went as Nuffnang invitees for winning the MDG slogan contest. 800 photos to deal with so sleep first luuu....

Cat and Dog Theology Part 2

For those who missed out the part 1, Cat and Dog Theology is actually based on an old joke about the differences between cat and dogthat conveys their differences perfectly. A dog says "You pet me, you feed me, you shelter me and you love me, you must be God." while a cat would say "You pet me, you feed me, you shelter me and you love me, I must be God..."

In a cat perspective, they are into Christianity for themselves. If there's someone or something that could give them a better life, they would seriously consider it. Why? Because their focus is not on God but on themselves. Cats are into it far more for more what they can get out of it than for the opportunity to radiate God's glory and to advance God's kingdom. Dog says "No, It's all about God's glory"

Although there is only one way to heaven, there can be different reasons of wanting to get there.

For Cats, they see the option of hell and they want to run away from it. Cats are moving towards heaven but they are walking backward, focused on hell. A cat says "I don't want to go to hell" Their focus is on themselves, only their lives. Although it's not a bad start but it falls far short of what a dog wants.

Dogs want to go to heaven for different reasons. Dogs are also moving away from hell and towards heaven, but they walk forward. Hell is behind and heaven is in front. A Dog says "I've found Someone not only beautiful, but He is beauty. I found Someone not only powerful, but He is Almighty. I found Someone not only loving, but He is Love. I got to give my LIFE TO HIM"

A Dog's salvation is described in Matthew 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again,and then in his in his joy went and sod all he had and bought that field." The man had found a treasure that was of great worth than all the other things he possessed. He joyfully relinquished all of his other possessed to obtain this one great treasure!!

Why are so many Christian joyless? Because their salvation is basically fire insurance. They are merely walking away from hell, focused on themselves. they have never discovered the treasure. When your just walking away from hell,there is relief, but no joy. Dogs demonstrate their salvation by the fact that they hunger for God and want more and more of him in their livesand shine to their lives.

Suppose to post about Cat and Dog Theology Part 2 i did in my cell group yesterday night, but due to my bad flu and cough, better write a short one... *cough cough* *sneezeeee* sighhh...~

I believe that what's done is done and not let the past ruin our future. Whatever mistakes or failures me might have made or faced are just part and parcel of life. Things in the past are meant to mould us to create a better future; to be a better person and improve on our weaknesses, and not to be kept in the heart blaming ourselves and do nothing about it.

*move forward!! swift, smooth, fast and smart, forget the past*

Like my 'endless' buddies always say "jou yan yiu hiong chin hon" which means "we must always look forward and move ahead in life"!! Agree??

Time waits for no man and we must really cherish the moments we have or we'll be sorry when it's too late. "too late to apologise..."

Tears vs Raindrops

Tears are like raindrops. The darker the clouds, the heavier the rain will be. It reflects our tears in a sense the deeper our sadness and sorrows may be, the greater our tears flow from our eyes. But always look at the brighter side of life, for everything does happen for a reason and the more positive we look at things, the more cheerful we will be!

Don't mess up your life just because you lose something which you think is close to your heart for God has a better plan for you! =) Don't be so stressed up when things seem to go haywire for you need to be calm in handling things... Don't feel sad at times when you are alone for God is always there beside you... Here's another nice poem ya...

Peace Like A River

What do we mean when we say peace like a river? Hrmm.. pretty tricky question though. How many of us really understands what peace like a river is? Anyone has any answer to it?

Well, I'm pretty sure most of us go through ups and downs in life pretty often and when things doesn't seem to go they way we want it to be, we will therefore fall into devil's trap!! Doing things then we should not do and just waste our lives like that...

It is only when we submit our brokenness to the good and great Shepherd of our hearts can we find the peace that allows us to respond to life: "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disqueited within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance."
